About the list

This list started out in December of 1998. We are now a knitting and crochet list with over 2600 members from all over the world.

An At My House Pattern

  1. Materials: 
  2. Size 2 crochet hook
  3. 1 ball Honeysuckle yarn, art. 810, color # 8 Pumpkin
  4. 2 small buttons 
  5. chain 12 
  6. Row 1: 1 sc in end chain from hook, and in each chain across row, ch 1, turn. 
  7. Row 2 & 3: sc in each sc across row, ch 1 turn.  
  8. Row 4: in same place, work 1hdc, 1dc, * skip 2 sc, work 1sc, 1hdc, 1dc into next sc, repeat from *  to last 3 sc, skip 2 sc, 1sc in last sc, turn.  
  9. Row 5: 1ch (counts as 1sc), work (1hdc, 1dc) into first st, * skip (1dc and 1hdc). work (1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc) into next sc; rep from* to last 3 sts, skip (1 dc and 1 hdc), 1 sc into top of  the turning chain, turn.  
  10. Repeat 5 row for pattern until piece  is 21 inches long.  
  11. Repeat rows 2 and 3 once. 
  12. Button hole row: 1 sc in first 2 sc, ch 1, skip 1, sc in next 3 sc, ch 1, skip 1sc, 1sc in last 2 sc, ch, turn.  
  13. Repeat row 2 once, then repeat the button hole row once, then repeat row 2 again, fasten off, Sew buttons on beginning row 2 at start of pattern.
